If you aim at nothing, it has often been said, you will hit it every time. And if you don’t know where you are going, you are certain to end up there.
Grace, mercy, and peace. “Grace and peace” is a normal greeting for Paul, but isn’t it interesting that only in the Pastorals does this third word, mercy, show up in his greeting?
